OUR PILLARS
Fundraise
UBCCA hosts a variety of creative events in collaboration with other UBC clubs to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society. Relay for Life is UBCCA’s signature fundraising event and one of the Canadian Cancer Society’s largest post-secondary events.

Raise Cancer Awareness
Our goal is to get more students engaged with cancer awareness. Last year, we launched a newsletter featuring various cancer research topics. We also create comprehensive study packages for UBC science classes every finals season, with proceeds supporting UBCCA’s initiatives.

Support Peers Affected by Cancer
From board games to craft nights to heart-to-heart conversations, UBCCA hosts weekly peer support sessions throughout the semester. We aim to grow a community of cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and all those affected by cancer.
